Instructions for Using Drill Bits
Application and Safety Rules
Drill bits should only be used for their intended purpose, following occupational safety and hygiene regulations.
Use only technically sound drill bits. Check the tool's condition before each use.
Mount the bit according to the device manual, as coaxially as possible.
Wear protective glasses and other personal protective equipment.
Adjust the rotation speed according to the type of bit and procedure:
• Size ≤ 023: 7,000 – 15,000 rpm
• Size > 023: 20,000 – 35,000 rpm
If
the recommended speed cannot be reached — change the bit.
Cleaning and Sterilization
To ensure safety and long product life:
Before first use:
Disinfect the bit for 30 minutes using a product that does not contain active oxygen.
After each use:
Remove organic residues (e.g., with a brush).
Clean the bit under water or in an ultrasonic cleaner.
Dry thoroughly — moisture can cause corrosion.
Sterilize in an autoclave:
• 121°C / 15 min / 1 atm
or
• 132–134°C / 5 min / 2 atm
Wear and Replacement
Immediately stop using the bit if you notice:
• diamond coating loss or damage,
• corrosion or discoloration,
• a bent shaft (causes vibrations),
• excessive wear (the bit no longer cuts effectively).
Storage
Store bits in a dry, dark place in original or protective packaging.
Avoid contact with moisture, dust, and direct sunlight.
Keep tools separated to prevent mechanical damage.
Tip: Regular inspection and proper maintenance of tools guarantee safe and comfortable work.
